In the last few days I have received 3 letters saying I should see a psychiatrist and 202 letters thanking and congratulating me for ‘outing’ 9/11. This encouraging deluge resulted from the fact that on Aug 23 the Nashua Telegraph did its civic duty by inviting NH candidates to say “anything at all” for up to an hour. Fancy that! Word then got around the 'net that Mary Maxwell has labeled 9/11 an inside job.
A recent Zogby poll shows 43% of Americans suspicious of government collusion., so it is only right for a candidate to take this up. Please let me assure you that it need not be frightening to acknowledge that “we” did 9/11. For five years we’ve had to assume that foreign nations were eager to kill us. Each of us had to look over our shoulder on the subway or in the supermarket. Now, we can be free of that fear. I, for one, feel that the future is bright again.
False Flag Operations
It is not unusual for national leaders to try to motivate their public to prepare for war against an enemy. Even our own country does this. For example, in 1990, Pres Bush Sr. needed to stimulate American anger towards Iraq for its’ invasion of Kuwait. How did Bush proceed with this? He hired the PR firm Hill & Knowlton to script a dramatic scene. A young Kuwait woman informed Congress that she had seen Saddam’s soldiers steal incubators from a hospital in Kuwait, leaving babies to die on the cold floor.
In the past 16 years, most Americans have learned that that girl was only acting, and that she was the daughter of Kuwait’s ambassador to the US. Did you feel insulted or angry when you learned about it? Or, if you are hearing about it for the first time now, do you feel angry? I personally disapprove but I’ll bet the majority thinks it was either harmless or necessary.
On the other hand, many Americans, especially veterans, were furious when they found out that Pres LBJ, in 1964, had cooked up a story about an attack on US ships in the Gulf of Tonkin His lying about the aggression of the Vietnamese led us to amplify the war. So maybe it is a question of whose interest is served by the false-flag operation.

1. As requested by Chief of Operations, Cuba Project, the Joint Chiefs of Staff are to indicate brief but precise description of pretexts which they consider would provide justification for US military intervention in Cuba.
Discussion
2. The suggested [action is] based on the premise that US military intervention will result from a period of heightened US-Cuban tensions which place the United States in the position of suffering justifiable grievances. World opinion, and the United States forum should be favorably affected by developing the international image of the Cuban government as rash and irresponsible, and as an alarming and unpredictable threat to the peace of the Western Hemisphere…
3. …all projects are suggested within the time frame of the next few months.
ANNEX TO APPENDIX TO ENCLOSURE A
1. Since it would seem desirable to use legitimate provocation as the basis for US military intervention in Cuba a cover and deception plan, …could be executed as an initial effort to provide Cuban reactions. Harassment plus deceptive actions to convince the Cubans of imminent invasion would be emphasized. Our military posture…will allow a rapid change from exercise to intervention if Cuban response justifies.
2. A series of well coordinated incidents will be planned to take place in and around Guantanamo to give genuine appearance of being done by hostile Cuban force.

This could be coupled with ‘Cuban’ messages to the Communist underground in the Dominican Republic and ‘Cuban’ shipments of arms which would be found, or intercepted, on the beach.
